Ingredients

  • Cob loaf

  • Small wheel of brie or camembert

  • Cranberry sauce

  • Fresh thyme

  • Olive oil to drizzle

Method

  1. Cut a hole out of the top of your cob loaf, just big enough to fit your wheel of cheese into.

  2. Scoop a decent amount of cranberry sauce or jelly into the hole and make sure to spread it up and around the edges, allowing it to spill out of the hole a little.

  3. Place your unwrapped brie or camembert wheel straight into the hole you’ve made.

  4. Use your sprigs of fresh thyme to make a wreath circling around the cheese. Pull off some leaves and sprinkle over the top of the cheese.

  5. Drizzle with olive oil.

  6. Bake at 180°C for approximately 15-20 minutes until the top of the cheese is slightly golden.

Voila! You’re done. The perfect oozy, creamy and delicious centrepiece for a festive table setting.
