Camembert & Thyme Stuffed Figs
When it’s fig season you need to make the most of it! And you can’t go wrong with the combination of sweet fresh figs and salty, creamy cheese.
Ingredients
Unicorn Cheese Classic Camembert or Lactose Free Camembert
6 fresh figs
A few sprigs of fresh thyme (chopped)
3 tbsp runny honey
Method
Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
Slice the top off of each fig (stalk end) to create a little hat. We’ve used a zig zag pattern for some extra detail. Use a paring knife to cut an "X" in the top of each fig, stopping about 2/3 of the way down.
Gently stuff each fig with a piece of camembert. Sprinkle with thyme.
Place the stuffed figs on a lined baking tray. Top with a drizzle of honey and bake for about 8-10 minutes, until warm and the cheese is beginning to soften.
Serve immediately, with bread or on their own, and devour (skin and all)!
