Prosciutto, Pear and Camembert Toastie
Can you ever go wrong with a toastie? We don’t think so! This classic combination is sure to please everyone and you can swap out the prosciutto with your preferred cold cut.
Ingredients
Unicorn Cheese Classic Camembert
Fresh sourdough bread
Thinly sliced prosciutto (or cut of your choice)
1 pear
A few sprigs of thyme
Drizzle of honey
Sprinkle of salt flakes
Butter (or olive oil) for frying
Method
Slice camembert and pear into thing slices. Slice you bread.
Arrange camembert, pear and prosciutto onto your bread slice. Add sprigs of thyme, drizzle of honey and a pinch of salt.
Put frying pan on low heat. Add a drop of oil and butter to your hot frying pan.
Add the sandwich and fry until the bottom side is golden brown (a couple of minutes). Flip and repeat on the other side.
Add a fresh sprinkle of salt flakes to the top side of the toasties.
Enjoy while hot and crispy!
