Baked Camembert wrapped in Puff Pastry
Ingredients
1 x 150g Unicorn Classic Camembert Wedge
1 Sheet store bought Puff Pastry
Honey
Handful of Walnuts
Egg (wash)
Method
Preheat oven to 160°C. Roll out puff pastry. Stamp out approx. 5-6cm circles. Should make 24 circles depending on the size of pastry.
Pre-heat oven to 160-180°C.
Remove Unicorn Classic Camembert from the wrapper.
Place Puff Pastry sheet on baking paper. Centre the Unicorn Camembert in the centre and fold in edges of pastry making sure the camembert wedge is totally covered. Cut off any excess pastry. Beat egg in a small bowl and use to close up the over lapping pastry as well as an overall wash on the pastry.
Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Top with honey and chopped walnuts and serve immediately.
Caution: Cheese will be melted on the inside and very hot!
